Thomas is a certified Physician Assistant. He is licensed to evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of psychiatric disorders including anxiety, depression, insomnia, post-traumatic stress disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and more. Prior to working at Compassionate Psychiatric Services, he worked in family medicine in Keller.
He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Dallas, a Masters in Counseling from SMU, followed by his Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Charleston. His passion for mental health stems from a psychology course taken in high school. Since then, his education and volunteer experience has been to help individuals dealing with mental health issues. His treatments stem from a patient-centered model and evidence-based medicine.
In his free time, he likes to spend time with family, read, cook and bake, learn a new topic and or hobby every six months, and enjoys going to the museum.
