About Fathima Chowdhury, PA-C

Fathima is a board-certified physician assistant with over 7 years of clinical experience in multiple fields of medicine including urgent care, pain management, family medicine, emergency medicine, and addiction medicine.
Fathima is certified to evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of psychiatric disorders including Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Major Depression, Anxiety Disorders, eating disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders, Post-traumatic stress disorder, and substance use disorder. Fathima has training in addiction management and is waivered to prescribed buprenorphine (suboxone). She is also experienced with advanced treatments such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and SPRAVATOâ„¢ for treatment-resistant depression.
She received her undergraduate degree from Georgia State followed by a master’s in physician assistant studies from MCPHS University.
Her passion for psychiatry stems from working with an underserved population in addiction medicine and mental health diseases. She is a strong proponent of mental health and firmly believes in providing compassionate patient-centered care. She’s an advocate for all her patients and delivers evidence-based medicine.
