Tracy Hamilton

Tracy is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has worked in various mental health and healthcare settings in her many years of experience.

Tracy is trained in multiple therapeutic disciplines, but generally practices from cognitive-behavioral (CBT) framework. She also prefers a Humanist approach and will provide person-centered counseling in conjunction with solution-focused principles. Tracy utilizes the therapy approach that fits the client's needs, based on their unique experiences.

Tracy provides clinical counseling for issues such as crisis and trauma, depression, anxiety, work/life balance, personal and family stress.

She also helps those dealing with loss of purpose, grief/loss, self-esteem issues and personal empowerment. Her goal is to assist clients with pulling from the best parts of themselves, to make life improvements.

Tracy earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Argosy's Professional School of Psychology-Dallas Campus. For on-going learning, Tracy regularly attends continuing education seminars and trainings.
