About Ali Rahman, LPC
Ali is a Licensed Professional Counselor. In conjunction with your physician, he addresses addressing issues with anxiety, depression, trauma, phobias, addiction, compulsive disorders, and career/finance issues, among others.
He received his Master of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University. The majority of his career was spent in finance, where he worked as a financial advisor. Ali’s experience includes doing individual and group therapy at the SMU Center for Family Counseling as well as at Homeward Bound.
Ali’s passion for counseling stems from meeting and working with people from all backgrounds. He believes that our perception of the world around us is based on what we call core beliefs and that these beliefs are the foundation that can shape thoughts and behavior.
