She has experience counseling individuals both teens and adults, navigating a variety of challenges such as relationship difficulties, school or work-related stress, and issues related to self-esteem. She also has experience supporting individuals navigating challenges such as depression, anxiety, addictions, and trauma. With a compassionate, humanistic, and person-centered approach, she helps individuals build coping skills, gain deeper self-awareness, and develop practical strategies to manage life’s challenges and improve overall well-being. Her goal is not just to help individuals overcome obstacles, but to support them in flourishing and thriving, cultivating resilience and well-being along the way.
Carolyn holds a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Texas Wesleyan University in Ft. Worth, Texas and a Bachelor’s degree in Emerging Media and Communication from University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson, Texas. She provides an integrated counseling approach drawing primarily from evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
Carolyn is passionate about helping individuals in cultivating self-compassion, nurturing emotional well-being, and living more balanced, fulfilled, and meaningful lives.
Outside of sessions, Carolyn enjoys discovering new restaurants, traveling to new destinations, and curling up with a good book.
