About Gaelle Francois
Dr. Gaelle Francois is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Compassionate and is dedicated to delivering empathetic, evidence-based, mental health care, tailored to each individual.
Gaelle began her nursing career at Florida State University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and working as a cardiac and heart failure nurse. While she found deep value in bedside care, her heart was always drawn to mental health. This passion led her to pursue and complete her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at the University of Florida, where she specialized in psychiatric care across the lifespan.
At Compassionate Psychiatry, Gaelle is known for her warm, collaborative approach. She takes the time to truly listen and understand what each client is going through, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where healing and progress can happen. Whether someone is struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or simply feeling unlike themselves, Gaelle partners with them to find real, lasting solutions.
Outside of her professional work, Gaelle enjoys spending quality time with family and loved ones, visiting theme parks, exploring new restaurants, reading, and staying active with a good workout. As a proud newcomer to Texas, Gaelle also has fun discovering all the vibrant and unique experiences the state has to offer. Gaelle is committed to helping others feel better, by truly caring, connecting, and showing up for her patients every step of the way.
