About Karen Henson, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C
Karen Henson is board certified as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner as well as a family nurse practitioner. In conjunction with your physician, she will evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of psychiatric disorders including attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, major depression, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, and substance use disorder. She also has experience with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and SPRAVATO™ treatments.
She received her bachelor of science in nursing degree at Old Dominion University and worked as a registered nurse for 15 years before pursuing both of her master's degrees at the University of Texas at Arlington.
