Licensed Professional Counselor
Rachel is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Rachel earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master's degree in counseling and development from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX. She has experience working with a diverse population, including but not limited to, those experiencing severe and persistent mental health concerns.
Rachel pulls from a variety of different therapeutic disciplines to assist the individual person with their individual needs and is trained in approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and cognitive processing therapy (CPT). She is experienced with working with individuals who struggle with trauma, depression, anxiety, and stress. Rachel's goal with therapy is to provide her clients with a safe space and with tools so that they can learn to become their own therapist.
