I can’t speak highly enough about Compassionate Psychiatric. After 10 years of self-isolation and MANY medications (that were just given to me with no real research), I gave up thinking anyone could help me. At my very lowest I got scared that I couldn’t continue this way and HAD to get help. Reluctantly, I did some research and found Compassionate Psychiatric. I was a mess. I couldn’t stop crying and my anxiety was at 10. I met with Fathima and she looked me in my eyes and truly listened. She gave me a genealogy test showing which medications work best for me. I knew this time was going to be different. During my treatments, I met Monica, she works with the Spravato patients. Monica is TRULY special and genuinely cares for every one of us. Monica takes the time to know her patients and is extremely compassionate. I get a sense of relief just knowing she’s there when I go for my treatments. I’m doing better and continue to progress. I first visited Dr. Mohammed in late April 2019 in the midst of a mental health crisis. I was honestly at the lowest point in my life, and he personally handled me gently and with great concern. After inpatient services elsewhere, I was able to transition here for the medication (including Sprovato) with Fathima and individual counseling with Jennifer. Fathima does so much more than medication. She treats the totality of the patient and tries to find the best medication at the lowest effective dose for my unique needs. It's not just about pills---she LISTENS and cares. And Jennifer invests her heart in her clients. She is my cheerleader and my reality check. The team here is great. It feels like my second family, and everyone on staff encourages and supports my healing, including the administrative staff like Jane, who goes above and beyond and always has a smile and stays organized with my files. I am always greeted with friendliness and kindness by the front desk personnel. It is not an exaggeration to say that these folks have helped keep me going for almost a year now. Call them for an appointment--they will get you in quickly and treat you with the respect and concern you need when you're struggling.
