With deep roots in New Orleans, Louisiana, Cita is a Licensed Professional Counselor - Associate, supervised by Gerardo A. Blanco, LPC-S, she brings a wealth of experience in supporting individuals and couples through life’s challenges. She earned her master’s degree in counseling from Grace University and has worked in both school settings and private practice.

Cita’s approach to therapy is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, focusing on helping clients recognize their strengths and manage stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and other life transitions. She is passionate about creating a space where clients feel valued, understood, and empowered to navigate their journeys with resilience and hope.

Having raised two adult sons, Cita brings not only professional expertise but also life experience and compassion to her sessions. She has a particular heart for helping those who feel broken or devalued, offering a warm, non-judgmental environment that reflects her Southern hospitality.

Cita works collaboratively with her clients to uncover their potential, address their unique needs, and create meaningful change. Whether someone is facing a difficult life transition, struggling with addiction, or simply needs someone to talk to, Cita is there to walk alongside them on their path to healing and growth.
