Alayna Wright, MEd, LPC-Associate

Alayna is a licensed professional counselor associate LPC-Associate, supervised by Shelly Thompson LPC-S.

She has comprehensive counseling experience with vulnerable populations dealing with various mental health conditions. Her specialties include: adults and children with special needs, IDD/Autism, schizophrenia, psychosis, trauma, chronic illness, LGBT, substance use, multicultural, and comorbid diagnoses.

She looks at counseling from a holistic lens, incorporating the idea that many different factors can influence our mental state. Because of this ideology, she draws on different therapeutic approaches depending on what will be most helpful for the client. These approaches include: CBT, DBT, Internal Family Systems, and trauma focused care.
