Astrid Paola Strong is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate (LPC-Associate) with a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas at Dallas. She provides compassionate support to adolescents, young adults, and older adults in a talk-therapy setting grounded in a safe space open for personal growth.

She is passionate about walking alongside clients as they begin a journey of awareness, perspective-taking, and self-discovery. She has experience working with clients as they navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, adjustment and stress-related disorders, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, and major life transitions.

Her approach integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), with a deep sensitivity to the impact of past experiences and the importance of trauma-informed care. She strives to create a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space where clients can feel seen, heard, and empowered in their healing journey.

She believes every person carries inherent strengths and a unique capacity for growth. Through the therapeutic process, clients are supported in reconnecting with the present moment, cultivating balance, and nurturing their ability to recognize and embrace the possibilities that life continues to offer.
