Moriah-Van-Kampen
Moriah is committed to supporting individuals as they navigate life's challenges and transitions by utilizing evidence-based, trauma-informed, and contextual therapeutic approaches. Moriah strives to build a safe, compassionate, and collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered to pursue their goals in personal growth.
Moriah works to identify unhealthy patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and cultivate psychological flexibility, resilience, and meaningful change. She is driven by compassion and a commitment to providing ethical, effective care, and believes therapy is a space for healing, growth, and rediscovering personal strengths. She partners with clients to support emotional regulation, self-awareness, and lasting progress toward their goals.
She earned her master’s degree in counseling psychology from Abilene Christian University. She has worked with diverse populations and is deeply dedicated to serving trauma survivors, especially those affected by sexual assault. Her professional experience includes roles as a Sexual Assault Advocate and in the Title IX Office, where she assisted individuals through reporting processes, offered emotional support, and facilitated access to healing-centered resources. These experiences have strongly influenced her compassionate, client-centered approach to trauma care.
